- Akrapovic designed the P-KAT-040 catalytic converter to overcome the sound and performance restrictions of the Majesty 400. This component significantly improves the sound and efficiency of Akrapovic's exhaust systems.
- The Akrapovic P-KAT-040 is compatible with a wide range of Yamaha, Honda, Aprilia, Derbi, Gilera, Peugeot, Piaggio, Star Motorcycles, and Vespa models. Among them are the Yamaha Majesty 400 07-15, Yamaha MT-07/FZ-07 14-16, Honda CB 650 F 14-16, Honda CBR 125 R 11-16, Aprilia SPORTCITY 125/200/250ie 07-08, Derbi GP1 250 06-11, Gilera Fuoco 500 07-16, Peugeot Satelis 400 08-11, Piaggio Beverly 125 09-16, Star Motorcycles Bolt 14-16, Vespa GTS 125/150 i.e Super 09-16 and many more.
- This converter is built with a honeycomb-shaped metallized structure that contains precious metals such as palladium, rhodium, and platinum. These metals transform harmful gases like carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons into carbon dioxide and water vapor, which are less harmful.
Why should you install this catalytic converter in Akrapovic mufflers?
- The installation of the P-KAT-040 catalytic converter in the Akrapovic muffler is necessary to comply with EC (Euro 3) or ECE (Euro 4) emission regulations and to pass the ITV. If the catalyst is not mounted, the Akrapovic muffler will not be approved.
