- Akrapovic has designed the P-KAT-057 catalytic converter to counteract the sound and performance reduction caused by the MT-09/FZ-09 catalyst. This product is designed to provide the characteristic sound and performance improvement of Akrapovic exhaust systems.
- This Akrapovic model, the P-KAT-057, is compatible with various YAMAHA models, including the Yamaha Niken 19-20, the Yamaha TRACER 900/900 GT/FJ-09 15-20 and the Yamaha XSR 900 16-20.
- The design of the P-KAT-057 resembles a metallic honeycomb and integrates several precious metals such as palladium, rhodium, and platinum. These metals serve to transform harmful gases, such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
