- Akrapovic has designed the P-KAT-061 catalytic converter to counteract the sound and performance reduction of the SCR950 caused by the catalyst, providing the usual improvements in sound and performance of Akrapovic exhaust systems.
- The Akrapovic P-KAT-061 is applicable for Yamaha SCR950 17-20, Yamaha XV950/R/Racer 17-20, Kawasaki Ninja 650 17-19, Kawasaki Versys 650 17-20, Kawasaki Z650 17-19
- This product features a honeycomb metal structure that incorporates precious metals such as palladium, rhodium and platinum. The function of these metals is to transform pollutant gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons into carbon dioxide (non-toxic) and water vapor.
Importance of installing this catalytic converter in the Akrapovic S-Y9SO4-HBBOSSBL/1 and S-K6R10-HEGEHT.
- To comply with the EC (Euro 3) or ECE (Euro 4) regulations on pollutant gas emissions and to pass the vehicle inspection, it is necessary for the Akrapovic muffler to incorporate this catalyst. If the catalyst is not mounted, the Akrapovic muffler is not approved.
