- Akrapovic has designed the P-KAT-076 catalytic converter, which enhances the sound and performance of the Ninja 650, taking into account that the catalyst is its main limitation.
- This Akrapovic model is compatible with Kawasaki Ninja 650 2020 and Kawasaki Z650 2020.
- The design of the P-KAT-076 incorporates a metallic honeycomb structure with precious metals (mainly palladium, rhodium, and platinum) on its surface. The function of these metals is to transform polluting gases, such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, into carbon dioxide (non-toxic) and water vapor.
Importance of installing this catalytic converter in the Akrapovic S-K6R12-HEGEHT
It is essential to install this catalyst in the Akrapovic muffler to comply with EC (Euro 3) or ECE (Euro 4) regulations on pollutant gas emissions and to pass the vehicle inspection test. If the catalyst is not installed, the Akrapovic muffler would not be approved.
