- The P-KAT-053, with its honeycomb metalized structure design, incorporates precious metals such as palladium, rhodium, and platinum. These metals facilitate the transformation of harmful gases, such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapor.
The relevance of installing this catalytic converter in the Akrapovic S-H3SO4-HRSS
- This catalyst is essential for the Akrapovic silencer to comply with EC (Euro 3) or ECE (Euro 4) regulations in terms of harmful gas emissions, thus allowing it to pass the Technical Vehicle Inspection (ITV). Without the incorporation of the catalyst, the Akrapovic silencer does not comply with the required approvals.
